How Do Lip Injections Work?

Are Lip Injections Painful?

What is the Recovery Like?

Immediately afterward, the lips will be swollen and possibly mildly bruised. However, the majority of the swelling will go down two days later and will have completely resolved in two weeks.

How Long Do Lip Injections Last?

On average, they last up to six months, but results may vary depending on your lifestyle factors. For example, very active patients who exercise frequently tend to metabolize filler more quickly. Most fillers are FDA-approved for cosmetic use among patients 21 years old and up.

Initially, I was told not to purchase additional through Groupon and that I would receive the same price, but that changed quickly. When I declined to buy an extra package and pay more, the provider’s attitude shifted and I was treated poorly. The treatment lasted at max four weeks and caused a tingling sensation on my face that I had never experienced before. I also felt uncomfortable due to the way I was spoken to. The behavior came across as rude and dismissive, and I personally observed noticeably better treatment toward lighter-skinned clients, which made the experience feel discriminatory and unprofessional. Overall, I did not feel respected or cared for as a client. I would not return and would not recommend this service based on my experience.
